Why not come along and try rowing? You don't have to become a member just to have a go.....

We have a good track record of training novices to become race winning athletes, or confident recreational rowers, and every member recieves quality coaching from day one. We have a number of qualified Level 2 coaches as well as unqualified but passionate and experienced members who get involved with coaching at all levels.

Trireme Ynys Mon Rowing Club is open to all ages (14yrs and above) and all abilities, and we welcome anyone who wants to try rowing for the first time. All we ask is that you pay a fee of £5 per taster session, up to a maximum of three sessions, after which you can decide if you want to pay full membership to join the club and carry on rowing.

All shapes and sizes are actively encouraged to join.  If you don't want to row, but would still like to be involved, and get out on the water, we are always looking for people to become dedicated coxes (the person who steers the boat and controls the crew). We have a special membership rate available for our dedicated coxes.

You don't need to be super-fit to try rowing, we have a wide range of fitness levels in the club. However we would recommend having a check-up with your GP if you haven't engaged in any exercise for a long period of time as it is quite a physical sport.

If you decided that you want to progress to full membership, then annual adult subs are:

£72 if you join between 1st April and 30th September;

£36 if you join between 1st October and 31st December;

£20 if you join between 1st January and 31st March.

All subs once paid cover membership until the end of that financial year.

Concessions are in place for student's and juniors.

For more information about membership then please send us a message on the Facebook page or email us on info@ynysmonrowing.co.uk
